Angela has been an educator for 35 years and is the author of 16 professional books for educators. Before becoming a full-time author/consultant, she was a secondary English teacher, secondary administrator, instructional coach, turnaround specialist, curriculum developer, adjunct professor, and National Writing Project instructor.
Tracey is an author, consultant, and certified professional coach. She has been a middle school teacher and principal, reading specialist, business administrator, adjunct professor, assistant superintendent, and acting superintendent.
Brett has been an elementary teacher, assistant principal, principal, and central office administrator with a focus on data, assessment, curriculum, instruction, and leadership. He was also an assessment director at the state level before becoming an assistant superintendent and superintendent.
Linda has been an elementary teacher, department chair, mentor, consultant, and adjunct professor. She served as a scoring director for Oregon’s statewide writing assessment for 17 years and has also designed and facilitated numerous large-scale writing assessments.
In addition to being a consultant, Zaida has vast experience teaching English and English as a Second Language at all grade and proficiency levels in public and private schools, and has held both faculty and administrator positions at universities in the US and Puerto Rico. Zaida has a Ph.D. in Linguistics, an M.A. in TESOL, and a B.A. in English and French.
Drema was a successful teacher, principal, and director of accountability and assessment in a large, urban school system. Now retired, she serves as a principal mentor and is our chief data analyst.
Lisa is a national education consultant, researcher, and writer who has supported thousands of educators in the US, Canada, and Costa Rica. She has co-authored multiple books on literacy and was formerly an English teacher and secondary literacy coach. Lisa is passionate about literacy as the heart of student learning and is focused on equity.
Leanne has over 20 years of experience as an educator. She taught in several elementary schools, was a master teacher, and served as a school-based and district-level instructional coach. She has experience in developing curriculum and coaching her colleagues in grades K-8.
Jo is a former teacher, instructional coach, principal, and principal supervisor. She has been a leadership coach for the past 18 years, focusing mainly on building and district-level leaders. She is also a skilled workshop facilitator and has published articles about formative assessment and school improvement.
